MesoPeel® is a pharmaceutical grade chemical peel. A chemical peel is a dermo-cosmetic procedure that consists of provoking accelerated skin regeneration in a controlled manner through application of chemoexfoliation agents that are used to act on different layers of the skin.

MesoPeel® is the most advanced range of chemical peels, designed to address and treat skin concerns such as hyperpigmentation, skin texture, clarity, signs of ageing, acne, oil, congestion, couperosis, rosacea, stretch marks and other imperfections. These gentle but powerful peels achieve visible, long term results. Chemical peels encourages the top layers of skin to shed, peels act at different layers of the skin tissue to achieve amazing results.

Mesopeel maximum results are achieved from 50% in clinic treatment and 50% home skincare routine and requires a course of treatment that consists of 6 sessions, one done every 2 to 4 weeks. Though a one off peel will help superficially to resurface, freshen and add glow to the skin.

Salicylic Peel

Salicylic is a beta-hydroxy acid which has a strong peratolyc, comedolytic, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial effect, Salicylic acid treats acne, dilated open pores both comedogenic and anti-inflammatory acne, seborrehic dermatitis, sebaceous glands reducing pour size and evens out skin tone.

Glycolic Peel

Stimulates collagen synthesis for ultimate anti-ageing, designed to reduce wrinkles giving a clearer, fresher and younger skin. This peel helps to improve expression lines and superficial wrinkles.

Lactic Acid Peel

A moisturising peel that can be used on all skin types including sensitive skin types to improve the appearance of a dry or dull complexion. Its whitening properties help achieve a more uniform skin tone. The peel stimulates new collagen and elastin fibre formation, making it the ideal cosmetic treatment for skin that needs brightening and is displaying early signs of wrinkles.

Mandelic Peel

A non-irritating exfoliating treatment designed for oily skin. The peel helps improve the texture of thick and oily skin and reduce the appearance of pores. This peel also targets pigmentation irregularities, evening out skin tone.

Modified Jessner Peel

This peel is designed to manage acne, preventing persistent breakouts and calming current blemishes with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It is also Ideal for dull, slightly wrinkled, and sensitive skins, treating chronological ageing, leaving the skin with a clean and clear complexion. This Peel contains three acids: Lactic Acid is used as an exfoliating agent, it activates collagen and elastin formation as well as increasing hyaluronic acid concentration in the extracellular matrix. Salicylic acid is used for its ability to regulate oil production along with it antiseptic and antibacterial properties to really clean and sooth the skin. Citric Acid is used for its anti ageing and antioxidant properties. The combination of these three acids achieves recovery of lost skin tone, texture and luminosity.

Azelan Peel

This peel is ideal for those suffering with acne or acne scarring. The peel helps to treat all phases of acne. It can also help with dark spots and rosacea and has anti-fungal properties. This Peel consists of two Acids:

Azelaic acid acts as antibacterial and anti proliferative agent with anti-inflammatory and oil-regulating properties. Normalises the keratinisation process of the follicles.

Salicylic acid causes a powerful keratolytic and comedolytic effect, in correcting hyperkeratosis, skin flaking and controlling sebum production. The combination of these acids leaves the skin feeling clean, smooth and acne free.

Melanostop Peel

This depigmenting peel is especially formulated to treat most forms of hyperpigmentation including sun damage, age spots/liver spots and post inflammatory pigmentation. This peel contains three Acids that work together to treat melasma and other melanic hyperpigmentations, preferably located epidermically. Azelaic Acid is used to treat melanoma due to its tyrosinase inhibitor. Resorcinol, improves skin texture and combats hyperpigmentation. Phytic Acid is a depigmentation and antioxidant.

Peels are a chemical exfoliant usually derived from fruit acids, helping to gently remove dry, dull skin cells to reveal the softer, smoother skin underneath. MesoPeels®, range from superficial, medium and deep.

Peels are measured in strength by percentage. An in-depth consultation will be carried out to create the best course of treatment for individual needs.

We are unable to treat anyone who hasn’t prepped their skin prior to treatment with the necessary home care. This is to prevent any reactions or restriction of treatment on skin that isn’t used to medical grade skincare and aesthetic treatments.

The most common question we get asked is will my skin peel off?  Most of peels are designed to be pain free and carry minimal downtime if any. It can be common to feel a slight heat and tingling sensation whilst the peel is on. Following this your aesthetician will provide a cooling mask which will help to soothe, protect and hydrate your skin.

Whether your concern is active acne, breakouts or scarring, or whether you are just looking to feel fresher and brighter, even younger, there is a MesoPeel to target every concern.  Lactic and Glycolic peels, expect glowly, radiant and hydrated skin, with a smoother tone and texture. The Acnelan courses, clients have reported a massive reduction in cystic and comedonal acne, scarring, open pores and overall cleanliness of the skin

Results can be seen in as little as two weeks but will continue to improve throughout the course of peels with best results at 3 months following full treatment and homecare.

Most Peels are non-invasive, showing no signs of any side effects, however some clients may experience slight peeling, redness or dryness. Fast skin repair by Mesoestetic is to be applied to the skin to significantly reduce any peeling or irritation.

We recommend you continue to avoid any self tan, AHA’s, BHA’s and Retinols for upto 14 days post peel. Also exercise and heat treatments i.e sunbeds and saunas, waxing and threading is not advisable for 14 days post peel treatment, or until the skin is fully intact and healed.

We recommend waiting 48 hours after procedure for any make up application, however you can wear mineral make up immediately after should you need to.

We recommend Lightwater veil 50+ or Melan Tinted 130+ by

Mesoestetic ® as a make up replacement. They must be applied 1-2 times per day continuously after treatment to protect skin. 

This all depends on how well you adhere to your aftercare. If you follow your homecare provided, peels can be a continuous Anti Ageing tool and results can be seen upto 12 months post procedure. Remember the 80 /20 rule (80% of results seen are from what you do at home yourself using homecare and SPF, 20% percent are in clinic treatments).
